Our Team Philosophy
The philosophy of Team 486, The Positronic Panthers, at Strath Haven High School, has always been simple. We believe in the principles and values of FIRST. Team 486 is constantly striving to uphold these fundamental principles. It is so important to this team that the students are the ones who design and build the robot. This is to truly understand the skills and moral values that will be necessary in the real world. All students are expected to treat each other with respect and of course follow gracious professionalism. These values are expected to not only apply to the team but also to those that the students interact with in their daily life, including other opponent FRC teams. Here at Strath Haven High School we believe that learning new skills, while upholding our principles, is the true meaning of FIRST and the philosophy that all teams should strive to uphold.
